The European Accreditation for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (EAQA) is an international agency for quality assurance. Customer-oriented, efficient, fast and flexible work are some of its trademarks. It accredits according to the standards of the EC Accreditation Council. EAQA awards its Quality Seal to higher education institutions and programmes of high quality worldwide. Excellent performances, especially those that demonstrate a strong strategy-based and international profile, receive the EAQA Premium Seal. Each review panel usually consists of four members, representing key stakeholders: quality assurance agencies, higher education institutions (academics and quality assurance professionals) and students. EAQA may also choose to have an employers’ representative included on the panel.
